Why don't celebrities reply on twitter?

ok so i follow lzzy hale on twitter an this other girl i follow on twitter we talk sometimes and when she tweets lzzy she'll reply to her but, and i tweeted her at the same time she was tweeting the other girl and she wont respond she'll just stop tweeting. why do celebrities do this? every celeb i tweet does this! i think its dumb
