How do i type the euro sign w/o alt codes?

Underneath my 5 on my keyboard (not the numpad 5), i have the euro symbol. Shift 5 gives % and regular 5 gives 5, but what are the key combinations to get the euro symbol? If it matters, this is a laptop, but I don't think it makes any difference. Thanks :D
