What does it mean when I like to have a certain item on my dinner plate?

When I eat my dinner, I have to have a piece of plantains or a slice or two of wheat bread. If I don't have one of those two items, then I feel uneasy about eating my meal. It doesn't matter what I'm eating, I have to have either of them to feel like it is a good meal. What does that mean in psychology?
