Does anyone remember Hale Bopp Comet?

I remember driving home from work with this huge comet filling up the sky, and it wasn't even completely dark yet. It happened right in the summer months too. I've seen two comets since, aided by binoculars, but that was a once-in-a-lifetime appearance. It seemed to me that not enough people appreciated it enough at the time.
