You ever notice that doomsdayers disappear the day after?

right now people are freaking out about some day in may 2011.. before that it was 2012, before that it was the arrival of the Hale Bopp comet... I, unfortunately, knew people who believed this was the sign of the end. couldnt find those cultists the day after and if and when i did find any of these loons, they'd deny they ever said it like a president being impeached for adultery. anyone else experience this?
