Can a bad ignition module keep your truck from starting?

Its a 1980 f150 302 auto, I also have push start don't know if that matters. I have no power at all no lights, horn, horn dash lights, it don't turn over. Even when I jump it it does nothing, I tried tapping it with a screw driver and it just clicked
